Public Health Unit COVID-19 Protocol

                                          Updated January, 10th, 2022

1.) If you have symptoms of COVID-19:
     a)     If you are vaccinated or a child under 12:
                    Required to isolate for 5 days after symptoms start.
     b)     If you are unvaccinated, partially vaccinated or immunocompromised:
                    Required to isolate for 10 days after symptoms start.

ALL HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS MUST ALSO ISOLATE FOR THE SAME DURATION
AS THE PERSON WITH SYMPTOMS, REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS.


2.) If you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19:
     a)     If you are vaccinated AND you have no symptoms:
                   Self-monitor for 10 days
     b)     If you are unvaccinated, partially vaccinated or immunocompromised:
                    Required to isolate immediately for 10 days
     c)      If you live with the positive case:
           
ALL HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS MUST ALSO ISOLATE FOR THE SAME DURATION
AS THE PERSON WITH SYMPTOMS, REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS.


3.) If you have COVID-19 based on a positive test result:
      a)      If you are fully vaccinated or under 12 years:
                     Required to isolate for 5 days from the positive test result.
      b)     If you are unvaccinated, partially vaccinated or immunocompromised:
                      Required to isolate for 10 days from start of symptoms or postive result.

ALL HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS MUST ALSO ISOLATE FOR THE SAME DURATION
AS THE PERSON WITH SYMPTOMS, REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS.
