COVID-19 Current Protocols
- Masks are required for all students on the bus and at school.
- We recommend having back up masks in a ziploc (type) bag in the backpack. We do have extra disposable masks at school if your child uses them all up.
- We provide hand sanitizer and lots of hand washing breaks for those with sensitive skin.
- (Cohorting) Recess only with their class, divided into smaller groups in the classroom.
- Screening protocols - as directed by the Health Unit and Ministry of Education.
If you are interested in Before and After School Care, please know that the Arklan Extended Program is located right inside the school. They run daily programs before and after school as well as on PA Days, over March Break and in the Summer. For more information and to inquire about availability, please email [email protected].
When school starts, each child will need (all labelled with their name) a water bottle, indoor velcro running shoes, a backpack, lunch kit and a set of extra clothes.
